2024 Ordering Information
The website this year will be opened around April. Making sure I have the quantity of plant as well as the correct label for bloom. I will be adding more to the website after bloom season hopefully. (June)
This year we don't have as many varieties to offer due to winter kill.
We offer about 300+ varieties that can be ordered online from April through August 20th. I have around 1,000+ varieties for future ordering, but we are allowing the stock to grow. All paid orders are harvested starting around the 3rd week of July of each year. If you need iris shipped at a specific time, please make a note when ordering or call me.
The garden is open during bloom season to allow you to make your selections for local ordering.
When filling an order, you will be given a healthy rhizome, that has been cleaned, trimmed and labeled. The iris will be shipped within 48-72 hours of being dug (letting them dry as much as possible so they don’t get moldy) using Priority Mail. If there is an issue with an iris you purchased, and we can’t mail it, a refund will be given or I will contact you for an iris exchange.
Sale tax will be added to each order.
If you want to send a check via snail mail, please contact Ripple Effect to discuss your order.
If you are local, you can choose to pick up your order and not pay for shipping. Just make sure you choose that option when checking out.
Upon receiving your order, if you are not satisfied with its quality, please notify me right away. I will send out a replacement if available as soon as possible. If not available, I will either substitute another iris or refund your money. (You will need to ship back the iris for the refund - so I can plant it back in my field)
If any iris fails within the first month after planting, notify us by October 1st with a photo and we will replace it the following year, providing the variety is available. If not, a substitute variety will be sent the next year or we will refund. Please include variety name and reason for the loss of the plant.
Please plant them immediately when you receive them. We are not responsible for loss over winter due to harsh weather, soil conditions or pests or any other condition beyond our control. All plants will be photographed when they leave my care and it is up to you to plant them ASAP.
Bonus iris - I am very generous when it comes to bonuses. (some are NOIDs and some are labeled) but with any order of $35 you will receive a bonus! For every $35 spent, a bonus iris will be given!
