‘One of a Kind’ (Paul Black, R. 2010 ) TB, 35″ (89 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards chalky lilac, red plum veins running upward over outer 2/3, dark red-plum at lilac base and in narrow band, intermittent brass gilt rim; style arms lilac, crests striped red plum; falls velvety black cherry, white veins on haft and around old gold beards; slight musky fragrance. Honorable Mention 2013, Award of Merit 2017.
